Gucci has fully renovated its flagship store in Aoyama, Tokyo, and reopened it on September 14th.

Spanning three floors and covering a total area of over 1,000 square meters, the store offers a full lineup of men's and women's apparel, handbags, luggage, small leather goods, shoes, costume jewelry, fine jewelry, watches, silk products, eyewear, fragrances, the Gucci Décor collection, and children's collection.
In addition to stocking a wide range of items from the latest collection, to celebrate the reopening, Gucci Aoyama will also be offering exclusive handbags, luggage, men's and women's shoes, and apparel.

In addition, Gucci is launching the "GUCCI DIY (Do It Yourself)" program, which allows customers to personalize iconic Gucci products.
Men's items can be customized with patches, embroidery, printed lining, and other embellishments, and unisex knitwear can be customized with knitted initials. In addition, a women's DIY program will launch in mid-October, allowing customers to customize various styles of jackets, including hoodies, dresses, cardigans, and biker jackets. Handbags, luggage, and accessories can also be personalized.

The interior is understated, creating a comfortable and relaxing space. Traditional and modern, industrial and romantic elements blend together to create the elegant, contemporary eclecticism that characterizes the latest Gucci collection, comfortably echoing the appeal of the items on display in the store.
The floor is inlaid with a combination of different colored marbles, creating a decorative three-dimensional effect and creating a harmonious integration with the wooden flooring. The unique fusion created by the juxtaposition of contrasting materials is expressed throughout the store.

The technical display units contrast with the softness of the precious fabrics that decorate the space. Quilting and smooth velvet are used alongside lustrous iron and marble on the round and square tables and in the fitting rooms. Luxurious chairs are placed throughout the store, and vintage Oriental rugs are layered on top of each other.
A special staircase, exclusive to Gucci Aoyama, has been designed, fusing Japanese tradition with Gucci's contemporary aesthetic. The jet-black banister, which has a lacquer-like sheen, is decorated with an antique gold floral pattern.

The new Children's Collection corner on the third floor is decorated with pistachio green carpet and wallpaper in navy and white stripes and yellow and white gingham checks. The playful space, surrounded by colorful, bright walls and fabrics, is reminiscent of a child's bedroom, where dreams can run wild.
