OHSHIMA's "Aged Beef Curry Bread"

The venue will feature around 18 unique curry breads that we'd like to recommend right now. "OHSHIMA," a popular shop in Joyo, Kyoto, run by a female owner and chef, will be introducing their "Aged Beef Curry Bread." The dough is fluffy, crispy, and chewy, and they've put a lot of effort into creating the crispy part, using fine starch powder to create a special texture. The key ingredient, the roux, is a carefully crafted simmered beef mixed with a homemade spice blend of 24 different ingredients. Its mild spiciness makes it enjoyable for both children and adults.

Other unique options include a soft-boiled egg and a baked curry bun.

Sandwich Picoli's "Fruity Sandbox"
They also offer refreshing breads perfect for the still-hot summer. Sandwich Picoli, a specialty sandwich shop in Takatsuki, Osaka, specializes in handmade sandwiches. Their "Fruity Sandbox" features fluffy dough and generous amounts of fruit, including strawberries, muscat grapes, and grapes, and is available exclusively at JR Kyoto Isetan. Between the buns is cream and the brand's signature original jam, which is mixed for each product. This time, it's paired with raspberry jam for an even more refreshing taste.
