Acne Studios has unveiled a new video by prolific artist Grace Ahlbom, highlighting its Fall/Winter 2018 sneaker collection.
Inspired by the freneticism of MTV music videos from the '80s and '90s, Grace Albom shot the video using a VHS camera. The video takes you on a nostalgic journey through Grace's favorite spots in New York City. "When I went to college away from home, my dad sent me a bunch of home videos from the '90s, when I was a little kid. From there, I got really interested in VHS cameras and started filming my friends around New York. I made a bunch of short films while I was in college," she says.
The video features Acne Studios' most popular sneaker, the Manhattan, and begins in the schoolyard where Grace first shot her footage, passes through the setting of "Do the Right Thing," and ends in Tompkins Square Park.

For Fall/Winter 2018, Acne Studios is introducing new sneaker styles and colors, including the platform "Drihanna" and "Adriana," and the sock-style "Batilda" and "Tristan."
