Hender Scheme's 2021 Summer/Autumn collection has been announced.

From the previous collection (2021 Winter/Spring), Hender Scheme has changed the concept of seasonal terms to "winter/spring (ws)" and "summer/autumn (sa)". The newly announced Summer/Autumn collection (Summer/Autumn) will be available from June 12th at Hender Scheme's direct store "Sukima" and at participating stores nationwide.

New leather shoes, bags, and accessories are available this season.

The lineup includes unique shoes such as dress boots that combine leather shoes and sneakers in a unique balance, and experimental mules, as well as a botanical-patterned quilted series, wool blankets, and newly introduced small leather goods made from expressive and lustrous vegetable-tanned leather, all created with Hender Scheme's multifaceted perspective. This article will introduce some of them.


"Jodan Ichi" is the signature shoe of this season's collection, embodying the brand's signature style.
Jodan Ichi. These wingtip dress boots feature sneaker details that feel familiar, and are a product born in the "gap" between leather shoes and sneakers. With a smooth leather upper, McKay double sole, zigzag eyestays and side parts, sneaker elements are seamlessly blended into classic leather boots, creating a shoe that exudes a pleasant sense of incongruity.


"Rope Sandal"
The "Rope Sandal," which combines a net-like upper with a kamaboko sole, was inspired by the midsole design of the "UFO" leather shoes released in the spring/summer 2018 season, and was created with the concept of a sandal that does not sag.


"Schlaf Pumps"
"Schlaf Boots"
The two shoe styles, bearing the word "schlaf," which means sleeping bag, get their name from the sleeping bag-like structure of the upper, which has extra space between the upper and is tightened with cords. They are made from waterproof 3-layer nylon. The pumps feature a foam rubber sole, making them lightweight and flexible. A simple style with a stretch cord at the opening allows for gathering. The boots feature a water-repellent suede toe and EVA sole, with cords placed at the ankle and sides of the shaft, adding movement to the silhouette.


"Horn Loafer"
These loafers feature a buffalo toggle and a water-repellent suede upper with a lightweight, flexible foam sponge sole by Vibram. Their simple design adds a stylish accent to any outfit, while the highly functional materials make them a versatile pair of shoes.


"Tone"
"Tone" is a classic sneaker reconstructed using the manufacturing methods, materials, and image of leather shoes. It retains the best aspects of both sneakers and leather shoes, while prioritizing a light, comfortable fit in the design. This shoe combines the unique character of leather shoes with the form and comfort of sneakers, making it both dressy and casual.


New items have been added to the "Foot Cast" series, which was first launched in the Winter/Spring 2021 collection.
"Foot Cast" is a self-modeling product that allows you to mold leather shoes from your own feet. It's a new approach unique to Hender Scheme that differs from traditional custom-made leather shoes or technological sneakers. The shoes are immersed in water, and the wet shoes are then slipped on and allowed to adapt to the shape of your foot. This season, one new model has been added, bringing the total to three, including existing models.

Campus Tote Small
A new version of the long-selling Campus Tote Small, a tote bag from Hender Scheme that was first released in the Spring/Summer 2016 season, has now been released. In addition to the long handle, it also comes with a short handle that fits close to the opening of the body, making it a two-way bag.

"3 layered purse"
The new three-layer wallet, "Three Layered Purse," features three sewn-together pockets of different sizes for coins, cards, and bills, and allows access to all pockets with a single zipper closure, a design unique to Hender Scheme. This new product is compact yet offers ample storage capacity and functionality.


Leather tray

"Kjedahl flask long"
A new model has been released in the "science vase" series, which has been attracting attention every season since its first release. The new releases are a long-necked eggplant flask and a single-flower vase designed to stand upright by combining three pieces of leather. Available in five sizes, ranging from 50ml to 500ml.


"Assemble Wall Pocket Tissue"
A new bag and wall pocket have been added to the "Assemble" series, which uses glass leather rivets to form a stitchless design. In addition to the tissue case shown in the photo, the wall pocket line comes in a lineup of five different items that can store everything from stationery to smartphones.
