Maison Margiela has launched two new iconic sneakers, the Retro Fit. Pre-sales will begin on August 22nd at Maison Margiela Isetan Shinjuku. 

The name Retro Fit comes from "Retrospect."
Exploring previously unseen volumes, the shoe blends elements of several iconic sneakers with a form reminiscent of a snowboard boot, further enhanced by an exaggerated sole.
Parts of the upper have been cut out, exposing the sponge lining.
The details, which reflect the concept of relaxed glamour presented in the Fall/Winter 2018 "Défilé" collection, are reminiscent of the well-worn sneakers seen on young people at sporting events or clubs.
The "Retro Fit High-top Sneakers" (140,000 yen) and "Retro Fit Low-top Sneakers" (120,000 yen) are available in four colors: white, black, red, and silver.
After pre-sales at Maison Margiela Isetan Shinjuku, they will be available at Maison Margiela directly managed stores and some select shops from August 29th.
