Minamimachida Granberry Park is a new town created through a public-private partnership project to create a "new hub for lifestyles" by comprehensively redeveloping urban infrastructure, urban parks, commercial facilities, and the station, centered around Tsuruma Park, located around Minamimachida Station, and the site of Granberry Mall, which closed in February 2017. The "Park Life Site" area where the Snoopy Museum will open is located between Tsuruma Park and the commercial facilities. In addition to the museum, it will also feature a "Town Library" that uses books to foster interpersonal interaction, a workshop space, and more. By linking these facilities with the adjacent park, the aim is to utilize the entire town as a whole, creating a place where people of all ages can discover new ways to enjoy their time. The Snoopy Museum, the world's only satellite museum of the Charles M. Schulz Museum (California, USA), will allow visitors to enjoy precious original drawings and materials that showcase the charm of the Peanuts comics and Snoopy, which have appeared in newspapers around the world. In addition, original merchandise that can only be purchased here will be sold, and a cafe will be located in the adjacent annex.

Roppongi Snoopy Museum
The museum, which is roughly twice the size of the Roppongi museum, will be packed with fascinating content and will offer a variety of entertainment and outdoor programs that take advantage of the lush greenery. In addition, in collaboration with Machida City's "English Machida Project," the museum will also be working on original projects that allow children to learn English while having fun.

To coincide with the town's opening, the name of Minamimachida station will also be changed to Minamimachida Granberry Park.
Why not come and meet Snoopy in this revitalized town?
