This season marks the series' debut, and three new items will be released on November 1st: a Mizusawa down long coat, jacket, and coach jacket.
The three items being released this time from the "Invisible" series, developed to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Descente's "Allterrain" category, feature Mizusawa Down's signature heat-bonding and other special processes on the inside of the garments. While retaining the same high functionality as traditional Mizusawa Down, such as waterproofness and heat retention, they also feature a more minimalist design that minimizes the uneven texture typical of down on the surface. The simple design prevents bulk and makes it difficult to tell at first glance that it's a down jacket, making it suitable for a wide range of occasions, from business to casual. Additionally, the amount of down has been reduced to 60% of the previous model to suit urban lifestyles, making it even more comfortable to wear around town. The resulting down jacket has a streamlined silhouette. In addition, the feathers used are traceable down that has been certified by DOWNPASS, which makes it possible to track the procurement process of all feathers through strict management using serial numbers.
The three items in the "Invisible" series will be on sale from November 1st at "DESCENTE LUMINE Shinjuku," a limited-time shop that opened in Shinjuku Lumine 1 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Descente's "ALLTERRAIN" category, as well as at the directly managed stores "DESCENTE TOKYO," "DESCENTE BLANC," and "DESCENTE GOLF COMPLEX GINZA," and the company's official online store, "DESCENTE STORE Online."
