This year, the music festival "SOUL CAMP" will be held at the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. The festival will run from September 12th to 17th.


SOUL CAMP, which has been held since 2015, is a popular music festival featuring live performances by renowned international black music artists, street painting, and food service. This year, Isetan Shinjuku will host "SOUL CAMP 2018 @ISETAN," featuring live performances by artists and DJs, live painting by graphic artists, festival fashion, festival food, and more.

Live performances by artists and DJs will be held on the venue's stage on the first day of the festival, the 12th, and over the weekend on the 15th and 16th. The stage area where the DJ live performances will take place will feature performances by BUDAMUNK on the 12th, DJ IZOH, MURO, DJ SARASA, DJ NOBU a.k.a. BOMBRUSH!, DJ KOCO a.k.a. SHIMOKITA and DJ MITSU THE BEATS on the 15th, and DJ HAJIME, DJ HASEBE, DJ WATARAI, DJ YANATAKE, Mr.BEATS a.k.a. DJ CELORY, DJ KOMORI and BULL on the 16th.

MURO
Another highlight will be live painting by a total of nine graphic artists. Participating on the 12th will be Nishiyama Maki, who has also appeared as an artist at "atmos con", hosted by Atmos, NOVOL, who has created artwork for MURO and Manji LINE a.k.a. Kubozuka Yosuke, as well as ESOW, "YOHAKU", LY, and Hirotton. On the 15th, Takuya Kamioka, who has designed the album covers for Wednesday Campanella and others, Hideyuki Katsumata, who is still fresh in our memory for his participation in the "NAKAMA de ART" project launched by Shingo Katori, and TM Paint will be participating.

To satisfy your appetite, anea cafe, run by owner Ken Yokomachi and operating four stores in Tokyo, will be offering a limited-edition menu produced especially for the event. The lineup includes a hot dog made with rich chili beans and German sausage, topped with cheese and perfect with beer, the restaurant's popular fluffy and tender omelette beef stroganoff, and irresistibly crispy fried chicken made with a blend of 12 spices.

Also available in the merchandise area is the official merch collection from Atlanta-based three-piece rap group Migos, featuring their new album "Culture II," released in spring 2018. A total of 14 items will be on sale, including two new-to-Japan T-shirts, hoodies, and caps, as well as Isetan Shinjuku exclusive items in collaboration with music label and record shop JAZZY SPORT, BUDAMUNK, who will perform live on the first day, and no_name, a brand launched in Autumn/Winter 2017-18.
