NIKE LAB will release the Icon Collection, a collaboration between John Elliott, the designer behind his eponymous fashion brand, and basketball player LeBron James, on August 4th.

The "LeBron James x John Elliott Icon QS" (27,000 yen including tax) shoes feature a transparent upper and come with socks that complement the upper, a design idea conceived by LeBron himself. The "LeBron James x John Elliott Nitrogen Jacket" (35,640 yen including tax) has a discreet zipper on the inside, which opens to reveal an inner gusset. Elliott said the following. "This time, we used Nike technology and elements of our brand that LeBron loves to create a design that was truly special for him," said John Elliott. "The result is a silhouette that's very John Elliott, but with Nike details. And of course, LeBron's final feedback ensures functionality from head to toe. LeBron came up with the idea for the socks, and the collection really came together."
