The third in our series of noteworthy items picked by fashion editors and stylists is designer Satomi Yamamoto's "LIMI feu."
■ A long, open-shoulder cardigan made from soft, lustrous linen. Fine-count linen blended with nylon creates a soft, lustrous feel. Its lightweight feel and playful innerwear make it a hit. It was a popular choice for casual styles and spring/summer daily styling magazines.
■ Wide-leg pants with jacquard polka dots. This pair combines LIMI feu's popular polka dot pattern with wide-leg pants. The fabric is a blend of cotton and rayon, giving it a softness not found in 100% cotton. The polka dots are accented with black stripes. Its balance of being neither too casual nor too heavy is popular, and it was often worn by actresses for magazine shoots.
■ A cotton dress with metal studs on the collar and shoulders. The contrast between the rock details and the feminine silhouette with a cinched waistline made it a popular choice. The hard yet elegant atmosphere was often used in scenes where a formal yet playful atmosphere was required, such as preview screenings.
