LOUIS VUITTON will be holding a large-scale pop-up event at the Isetan Shinjuku store from July 4th to the 17th. To kick off the event, the "LOUIS VUITTON FALL-WINTER 2018 MEN'S POP-UP STORE" has opened in the promotion area on the first floor of the main building.

The pop-up, which features a trunk motif and a monogram in orange, one of the brand's key colors, will be selling items from Kim Jones's final Fall/Winter 2018-19 men's collection, the first of its kind in Japan, as well as a lineup of limited edition items.

When asked about the items that caught his eye at the pop-up, he commented, "The bags and T-shirts that can be used daily are cute. I was also interested in the neon-colored sandals. It's nice that just adding a pop of color to your feet can change the atmosphere."

In response to the question, "What do you like about Louis Vuitton?" she replied, "It's a very historic and prestigious brand that anyone can recognize by its monogram and is suitable for people of all ages and genders, but at the same time, they have a spirit of challenge that has seen them welcome some very daring designers, from Kim Jones to Virgil Abloh, as their artistic directors. I find that kind of spirit encouraging, or simply think it's great, regardless of the industry. Their collaboration with Supreme was also a hot topic, and I can't wait to see what they'll do next. Virgil's collection will be completely different, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they do next."

During the event, to coincide with the opening of the pop-up store, all of the window displays on the first floor of the main building at Isetan Shinjuku will be themed around "LOVE & PEACE" and will feature Louis Vuitton's men's collection, and the handrails of the two escalators in the building will be decorated with Louis Vuitton's iconic monogram motif.
