The "Zoff x amadana PC Glasses" (¥15,750), a collaboration between eyewear brand Zoff and designer electronics brand amadana, will be released in limited quantities on the 22nd.
Based on the hit frame "Zoff SMART," which uses lightweight, break-resistant, high-performance plastic and has sold 30,000 units per month since its release in 2010, the glasses are equipped with non-prescription "Zoff PC" lenses that reduce eye fatigue and make computer work more comfortable. Prescription lenses are available for an additional fee (prescription lenses start at ¥3,150, prescription PC lenses ¥5,250).
The glasses cord, featuring a custom-made, strong magnet at the end, is easily detachable, allowing you to wear the glasses around your neck when not using a computer. The thickness of the glasses frame and the glass coating are the same, creating a seamless and simple design. An original glasses box is also included. It will be available at Zoff's online store and select stores.
Amadana is a home appliance series that combines the uniquely Japanese lifestyle, aesthetic sense, and technology. The brand name comes from "Amadana," a district in Nihonbashi that was famous as an area filled with lacquerware shops during the Edo period. The brand has also collaborated with bag brand KENJIIKEDA and high-end casual brand mastermind JAPAN.
