Hender Scheme will open a new store, "Sukima Kappabashi," in Tawaramachi, Taito Ward, their home base, on June 8th.

The opening of Sukima Kappabashi, their second store after Sukima Ebisu, was prompted by the acquisition of an engraving machine from an artisan in Asakusa. A permanent space will be set up for "effect_lab," a personalization option using this engraving machine.
"effect_lab" is a service that allows you to engrave any text you like on Hender Scheme items (for 2,000 yen). Up to 15 characters, including alphanumeric characters and symbols, can be engraved.
You can choose from three types of engraving (plain, gold leaf, or silver leaf), and you can freely choose the size (large or small), and same-day delivery or shipping is also available.
This is the brand's first attempt at creating a space where people can add their own personal meaning and context to items. This option, exclusive to Sukima Kappabashi, allows you to become more familiar with the brand's products, which become a finished product unique to each individual as they are used.
  "Removable Ring Notebook A5, A6" Natural (A5 grid/ruled: ¥3,800, A6 grid/ruled: ¥2,800)

The items sold at Sukima Kappabashi are primarily made with tanned leather and are selected without being bound by season or collection. This is a departure from Sukima Ebisu, which offers a full lineup including seasonal items. The new store will also be selling exclusive items, including the "Removable Ring Notebook A5" (grid/ruled, ¥3,800) and the "Removable Ring Notebook A6" (grid/ruled, ¥2,800).
  "Caterpillar" (¥32,000)

In addition, to commemorate the opening, the store will be releasing the "Caterpillar" sandals (¥32,000) made with specially crafted tanned leather, as well as the "Pig Shoulder Small" (¥10,000) and "Pig Shoulder Big" (¥13,000) bags, exclusively at Sukima Kappabashi.
Come experience this new initiative, which can only be launched at the brand's manufacturing base, where it continues to work with artisans in Asakusa.
