Based in New York, SABIO has worked with renowned graffiti artists such as Shepard Fairey, Oz Gemeos, and Curtis Kulig to create graffiti on billboards and high-profile locations, establishing his unique style that blends dynamic forms and colors with abstract objects. Known as a leading figure in the global graffiti movement, he is currently active as a multimedia artist, and his energetic works have been highly praised by galleries and collectors around the world.
The artist name SABIO is an abbreviation of Supreme, Articulation, Bouncing, and in Orbit, and also means "wisdom" or "awareness" in languages with Latin roots.

"WAVES IN BLOOM" features new paintings, one-of-a-kind wearable artworks, each customized by the artist, and photographs and videos documenting the downtown New York cultural scene. Using a wide range of media, including soundscapes created on an iPhone, the exhibition offers a comprehensive sensory experience for the audience.
The exhibition's central large-scale paintings were all created in the rain on the rooftop of Savio's New York studio. Revealing Savio's true vision, the patterns seen in his works express the conscious energy vibrating with the cycles of nature. Like the waves that rise and fall before our very eyes, SABIO's work reflects the sensitivity of life: birth, rapid flow, and death.

In New York, the epicenter of subculture, new movements emerge constantly, like waves. SABIO has been a pioneer of downtown culture, documenting it for over 20 years. This exhibition features artists, musicians, and skateboarders representing the new wave of downtown New York, including rapper Wiki, also known for his work with the hip-hop group RATKING; Alien Workshop's up-and-coming skateboarder Yaje Popson; and Onyx Collective, the contemporary jazz trio that made waves with their Supreme album release. The photographs and video work capture vivid insights into their everyday lives, drawing viewers in as if they were experiencing them in real life. During the exhibition, merchandise related to the "WAVES IN BLOOM" exhibition, including original T-shirts and stickers, will also be on sale. A signing session to commemorate the book's release is also scheduled to be held at the venue from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on June 23rd.
