Moncler will kick off its 70th anniversary by taking over Milan's iconic Piazza del Duomo, kicking off 70 days of celebrations around the world.
To celebrate its 70th anniversary in Milan, Moncler will present a unique and exclusive artistic spectacle in the historic Piazza del Duomo, in the heart of the city. Directed by avant-garde French choreographer SadeckWaff, known for pushing the geometric limits of the human body through the unique genre of contemporary dance, the show, which will take place on September 24th at 9 PM Milan time, will kick off a 70-day program of special events and brand experiences around the world.

To celebrate Moncler's most glorious moment, and true to its spirit of building strong and authentic connections with local communities, everyone is invited to this magical evening. The Moncler story belongs to everyone. To commemorate this historic milestone, the signature Maya jacket will be presented in limited edition designs featuring the anniversary logo (the iconic rooster and the infinity symbol enveloping the number 70) and new colorways. There will also be seven never-before-seen reinterpretations of the Maya jacket by seven designers who have been integral parts of its history. Reimagined versions of the Maya jacket by Thom Browne, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Rick Owens, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Francesco Ragazzi, Giambattista Valli, and Pharrell Williams will be available from October 15th.
Remo Ruffini, Chairman and CEO of Moncler, said:

For Moncler, "extraordinary" has always meant exceeding expectations, infusing magic into the everyday, and pushing creativity beyond limits and conventions. It is the force that drives dreamers, inspires them, brings communities together, and holds limitless potential for turning ideas into reality. Extraordinary is about nurturing connections between the physical and digital realms, bridging the past and the future. The brand statement, "ExtraordinaryForever," will be manifested in various ways throughout the event, including a global campaign celebrating the most extraordinary moments in the brand's history, special exhibitions taking place in some of the world's most influential cities, and seven special anniversary NFT designs in collaboration with digital artist Antoni Tudisco.

About Moncler
Moncler was founded in 1952 in Monestier-de-Clermont, France, with a simple purpose: to protect high-altitude mountain workers from the cold. Constantly innovating, the brand has accompanied epic expeditions to the world's highest peaks and sponsored the French Olympic ski team in 1968. During the 1980s "Paninari" movement, the brand became an icon of Milanese urban style, and in the 2000s, it graduated from the Paris and Milan catwalks to flagship stores on the world's most iconic and prestigious streets. In 2018, Moncler once again shattered luxury conventions with "Moncler Genius," an event that invited renowned fashion designers from around the world to reinterpret Moncler's heritage for the modern era. Moncler's 70th anniversary marks a pivotal moment in the brand's history.

Remo Ruffini, Chairman and CEO of Moncler, said:
"This milestone year marks an important moment to reflect on the path we've taken, while also looking to the future with what we've learned and how we continue to dream. From the very beginning, nothing at Moncler has been ordinary or mundane. I often ask myself: who would have thought that a sleeping bag designed in 1952 would reach cities around the world, be worn by generations, appear on runways, and be reinterpreted by so many creative minds? Since our founding, we've always pushed the brand and our ambitions to new heights. I don't believe that what we've done has always been perfect, but I believe that it's not just our products that have made us great, but also our people." Our vision and our desire to be recognized for the energy and inspiration that everything we do brings have always been consistent. I would like to thank all those who dream with us every day: our Moncler family, our Moncler fans. At Moncler, we dream together, not alone. As we step into tomorrow, our brand's legacy and pioneering spirit continue to guide us and inspire our unique products and experiences. Never forgetting who we are, where we come from, and where we belong, we are guided by the strong belief that extraordinary means walking the path of the unknown.
