Introducing popular food and cutting-edge fashion from New York, the global trendsetting city, "New York Fair 2018" will be held from May 9th to 15th at the Hankyu Umeda Main Store's 9th floor Festival Plaza. Approximately 100 stores will be participating, including around 20 making their first appearance in Japan.

Wawfuls "Waffle" (999 yen)

This marks the seventh time this event has been held. Of particular interest are the popular food menus from three New York stores that are currently bustling with customers every day. Wowfuls, making its first appearance in Japan, will be serving Hong Kong-style waffles, which debuted at the outdoor food market "Smorgasburg" in 2015 and quickly became popular among young people on social media due to their cute, Instagram-worthy appearance. The waffles have distinctive round, bumpy dough that is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Enjoy three different toppings: strawberry vanilla, chocolate cookie, and pineapple coconut salted caramel.

Lucky's Famous Burger "Double Cheeseburger" (1,539 yen)
Lucky's Famous Burger, also making its first appearance in Japan and a popular lunchtime spot with New Yorkers of all ages and genders, is introducing the Double Cheeseburger. This incredibly satisfying burger features a patty seasoned with a secret spice, fresh lettuce and tomato, sandwiched between a chewy potato bun. True to the restaurant's concept of "serving delicious food," the burger is simple yet uncompromising in flavor. Crispy, jagged "crinkle fries" are also available.

egg "Egg Roscoe Grilled Tomato & Sautéed Kale" (1,944 yen)
Making its first appearance in the Kansai region, "egg," a Brooklyn-based breakfast specialty restaurant, is so popular that on weekends, people line up before it even opens. "Egg Roscoe Grilled Tomato & Sautéed Kale," which will be available in the eat-in space at the venue, is a popular menu item at the restaurant, consisting of a soft-boiled, runny egg wrapped in a brioche bun and baked with plenty of white cheddar cheese. The tomato and kale on the side add just the right amount of salt to whet the appetite.
