Adriana Lima, a popular fashion model and Victoria's Secret Angel, was born in Brazil on June 12, 1981.
In 1997, she signed with the New York modeling agency Elite Models and made her debut in the Anna Sui show. She subsequently appeared in shows such as the Paris Collection. In 2000, she gained attention when she signed with Victoria's Secret. She has also appeared in ads for Guess, Givenchy, and Donna Karan. Known for her high salaries, she is a regular in Forbes magazine's "World's Highest-Paid Models" feature.
In June 2009, she married NBA professional basketball player Marko Jaric. They gave birth to their first child in November of the same year and their second child in September 2012. She made headlines when she returned to the Victoria's Secret runway just two months after giving birth.

Another fashion model, Anja Rubik, was born in Poland in 1985.

She lived in Greece, Canada, and South Africa, and made her modeling debut in Paris while still in high school. In 2000, she appeared in shows for Givenchy and other brands. After graduating from high school, she began her career full-time, appearing in shows for Louis Vuitton and Dior, and appearing as a cover girl for Vogue.

In 2011, she married model Sasha Knezevic. The two met while shooting advertising campaigns for Gap and DKNY.
