An exhibition featuring the work of Arisa Shintani, designer of the eyewear brand Paris Miki, will be held at Shibuya select shop CANDY and the Paris Miki Shibuya store.
The theme is "Seven Transformations (SHICHIHENGE)," and CANDY will exhibit dresses designed with futuristic materials such as lenticular (3D sheets) and holograms, as well as sunglasses made using a 3D printer. In addition to the items on display at CANDY, the Paris Miki Shibuya store will also display panels of image photographs taken specifically for the exhibition, presenting the work in a different style from CANDY.
After graduating from Esmod in 2013, Arisa Shintani joined Paris Miki. At her graduation ceremony, she unveiled a 3D dress made with lenticular and LED lights in collaboration with Paris Miki.
