To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Toraya Cafe's opening on April 25th, they will be holding a workshop to celebrate the birthday of their long-selling and popular "An Paste" and releasing limited-edition items starting April 1st.


To celebrate the 15th anniversary, a limited-edition menu featuring sweets made with strawberries will be available, in reference to the play on words between "An Paste" and the number 15. The "An Parfait Strawberry" is a takeaway cup that can be enjoyed easily and features "an" as the main ingredient. It is a blissful dish that allows you to taste the an from start to finish, using strawberry and milk kudzu jelly, minced meat cookies made with smooth bean paste, and two types of bean paste paste.


The lineup also includes the satisfying "Strawberry Parfait (¥1,188, tax included)," packed with 10 flavors, including azuki-cha agar jelly, bean paste paste, and azuki bean and cocoa gateau. The lineup also includes the 15th-anniversary limited edition "An Paste Strawberry," as well as "An Toast," which lets you directly enjoy regular an paste. The bean paste parfait will be available at the An Stand Kita-Aoyama branch, the strawberry parfait at the Toraya Cafe Aoyama branch, and the bean paste toast with strawberry and smooth bean paste at the An Stand Shinjuku branch, all for a limited time from April 1st to May 6th.


In addition to the limited-edition items, the "Matcha and White Bean Cake (Regular ¥2,808 tax included, Small ¥486 tax included)" is a revamped version of a popular item perfect for the spring green season. Made with white bean paste made from white azuki beans, it's baked with fragrant matcha and white chocolate for a moist texture. This product will be available for a limited time from April 17th to early July at four stores: An Stand Kita-Aoyama, An Stand Shinjuku, Toraya Cafe Aoyama, and TORAYA TOKYO (small size only), as well as online (regular size only). At Toraya Cafe Aoyama, it will be available as a menu item with bean paste, red bean paste, and fresh cream (724 yen including tax) from April 17th to July 2nd. Also, starting April 1st, a campaign titled "Enjoy the deliciousness of overflowing bean paste paste. Extra serving service day" will be held, offering an extra 15g of "bean paste paste" on select menu items for 33 yen (including tax). What's more, they will be offered free of charge on the Extra Large Service Day to commemorate the 15th anniversary. The service day will run from April 25th to 30th, and from May 1st until March 2019, on the 15th of every month excluding regular holidays.

Furthermore, on April 25th, the 15th anniversary, woodworker Morinaga Shoji will be invited to hold a workshop to make an "anko paste knife," which is useful for spreading anko paste. Reservations can be made by phone (03-6450-6720) or by email (toraya-cafe@toraya-group.co.jp).
