Balenciaga has unveiled its Winter 22 campaign. The campaign expands on the theme of the collection presentation, a futuristic era where weather is nearly simulated.

The collection presentation took place in a glass dome, with models circling in a snowstorm. The corresponding campaign sees pieces from the collection worn by Kim Kardashian, Alexa Demie, BigMatthew, Khadim Sock, and Kim Yeon-koung.

The collection's pieces, including the Crush Bag, HD Sneaker, Swing Bag, Knife Wader, Trash Pouch, and Glove Boot, as well as hybrid bodysuit dresses, trompe l'oeil slip dresses, towel tops, XXXL hoodies, faux feather boas, pullover jackets, and faux fur coats, are presented in opposing environments, from layers in the scorching sun to minimalist clothing in the frigid cold.

The images were created by Berlin-based photographer Daniel Roché, who also created Balenciaga's first underwear and swimwear campaign. Daniel Roché is a multifaceted photographer known for his expressive and emotive work.
The campaign also includes a series of videos by Barcelona-based director Mau Morgó, in which the look remains constant while the environment rapidly changes through time-lapse photography, changing with each season. Mau Morgó is an award-winning creative director, designer and visual artist focused on creating unique experiences and experimental animations.
