"Pride and Glory," published in November of this year, will be released in Japan by Shimada Hirosho in January 2013.

German photographer Horst A. Friedrichs, who garnered acclaim with his work "Or Glory: 21st Century Rockers," focuses on rocker jackets in this work.

In the 1950s, the leather rider's jacket, which was once simply a convenient outerwear, became a symbol of rebellious youth. It was beloved by James Dean, Marlon Brando, and Dennis Hopper. Since then, leather jackets have been individually customized with paint, decoration, embroidery, studs, and patches, elevating them to a source of pride and earning a cult following even today.

The book also features vintage jackets from the venerable British brand Lewis Leathers, allowing readers to experience the true essence of the rocker's jacket through Friedrich's artistic photographs.
