This is the 11th installment of "THE ROAD," a series of landscapes captured by photographer Hidenobu Kasahara during his European travels. It features the Louvre Museum in France.

The Louvre Museum opened in 1793 and currently houses over 380,000 artworks. It is the world's largest art museum, attracting over 10 million visitors annually. Built by King Philip II in the 12th century as a fortress on the right bank of the Seine River in Paris, it underwent subsequent expansions and renovations. In 1989, the building was transformed into a striking facility, with a glass pyramid serving as its main entrance. The museum's collection features a wide range of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and crafts from ancient times to the early 19th century, as well as artworks related to historical civilizations such as the Ancient Near East, ancient Egypt, and ancient Greece.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has rapidly led to remote work in the world, there are certainly some analog things that we should cherish, such as casual conversations with someone or time spent admiring roadside flowers. "THE ROAD" is a story woven by roads, people, and towns where such thoughts seem to intersect.
Pay particular attention to Hidenobu Kasahara's artistic photography, which captures a quiet, warm atmosphere.
Our road continues, gazing at the past, present, and future.
