"Movie Sounds!" is a feature introducing recommended movie soundtracks to FASHION HEADLINE readers. For the second installment, we bring you "Begin Again," directed by John Carney.

Singer-songwriter Greta (Keira Knightley) moves from London to New York with her boyfriend Dave (Adam Levine). However, Dave is busy with his singing career, and they soon become separated. When they reunite after a long time, Greta discovers that Dave has been cheating on her. She runs away from home and turns to her old friend Steve (James Corden) for help. Steve, also a musician, had a live show that day, so Greta went along to the venue and, at Steve's unreasonable request, sang a song. She muttered, "For you, all alone in the city," and sang while strumming her guitar. Dan (Mark Ruffalo), a down-and-out music producer, happened to be listening and saw potential in her singing. He suggested she make an album. Having been rejected by the label he founded as a music producer, Dan came up with the idea of performing on the streets of New York, recording the performances, and making an album. Thus began their DIY album-making project. Greta, who accompanied her boyfriend to a foreign country, is no "can't live without a man" kind of girl. She's cool in how she handles the shady producer she meets for the first time. I also like how she chooses "whisky" without hesitation when asked, "Do you have whiskey or water?" Her relaxed fashion sense, which earned her the nickname "tomboy," is also relatable. Keira Knightley, born in 1985, is a woman in her late twenties. She's married to a member of the Klaxons, the band that coined the term "New Rave," a music genre that became all the rage in the late 2000s, and has one child. She's not only a notable actress, but a woman of this generation. The song "Lost Stars," nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song, is available in two versions: Keira Knightley's version for Greta and Adam Levine's version for Dave. Keira Knightley's lovely voice complements the delicate acoustic atmosphere perfectly. Adam Levine is truly a Maroon 5 performer. The stadium-worthy performance, with the high notes in the chorus, is truly captivating. After Dan and Greta stroll around New York City at night listening to music together using a "Splitter," Dan's words, "music transforms the mundane into something meaningful," left a lasting impression. We don't have background music like in movies in our daily lives. But when I listen to music with earphones or headphones, I feel like I'm listening to my own background music. At times like that, I even walk with a slightly more sophisticated air. I was reminded that music has the power to make everyday life like a scene from a movie.
