■ "Galaxy" by Masafumi Sanai

This is the first new work in six years from photographer Masafumi Sanai's self-published label, "Taisho," and 20 years since his debut work, "Ikiru."

"I deliberately chose paper that is easily damaged, and wanted to create a photo book that, like used denim, develops a unique character the more you open and look at the pages," says the photographer. This book, with a size, texture, and volume never before seen in the "Taito" label, is packed with photos from the past six years, and only the photos, in full-size, double-page spread print size.




"It's not like I've been slacking off these past six years" (Machiguchi Satoru). This is the form of the photo book that Sanai Masashi has arrived at over the years.
