Starbucks Coffee Kawagoe Kanetsukidori Store will open on March 19th on Kanetsukidori Street, where the Toki no Kane (Bell of Time), a symbol of Kawagoe that retains the atmosphere of the Edo period, is located.


The main store is located close to the Toki no Kane (Bell of Time), which still chimes the time in Little Edo Kawagoe, just as it did in the past. You can relax and enjoy the fragrant coffee and the lingering sound of the bell.

The design respects Kawagoe's traditional warehouse-style streets, and the exterior wood is made of cedar from Saitama Prefecture. The bar is made of materials reminiscent of the Edo black and white plaster used in Kawagoe's warehouses. The bench seats are made from Kawagoe Tozan, a fabric beloved in Kawagoe since the Edo period, creating a special space that reflects the local community and adds a touch of Kawagoe.

There is a courtyard in the center of the store, and a lush garden and terrace seating are located at the back. Enjoy the natural scenery that changes with the seasons while savoring your coffee.
