A.D. NÉEL, a new lifestyle shop that piques the curiosity of adults, opened on March 1st at MARINE & WALK YOKOHAMA in Yokohama's Minato Mirai district.


Inspired by Alexandra David-Néel, a female adventurer who continued to have an insatiable spirit of exploration even at the age of over 100, the brand is based on the concept of "Bringing a sense of adventure into everyday life!" and is a lifestyle shop aimed at all those who long for adventure but find it difficult to take a step outside of the everyday world.

The shop will bring together unique items selected from six categories - "History, Nature, People, Science, Adventure, and Living Creatures" - and will carry not only products with unique stories and the passion of their creators, but also artisanal techniques, local products, fixtures and products recycled from industrial waste, products born from crowdfunding, and even a customer service robot that recommends products through fun conversation, as well as travel information, events, and unique museum information. You can experience an exciting "real adventure portal" that will make you feel as if you've taken a step outside of your mundane everyday life.


At the grand opening, the brand will be selling a limited edition of its original fragrance series and stainless steel bottles. The fragrance series features a unique aroma based on Assam tea, blended with dozens of other incense ingredients, including cinnamon, natural ginger, and nutmeg. The stainless steel bottles are co-branded with Mizu, an action sports water bottle brand launched in the US in 2008 by a professional snowboarder. They are versatile, perfect for everyday use and camping. In addition, a variety of workshops will be held where you can experience the joy of interacting with creators and artisans while purchasing original fragrances and interior accessories.
