Y-3 will release the "Y-3 RUNNER 4D," a product featuring Digital Light Synthesis in the midsole, on February 23rd, with a limited run of 200 pairs worldwide.

Digital Light Synthesis is a technology developed by CARBON that uses digital light irradiation, oxygen-permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins to manufacture high-performance, durable polymer products.
The "Y-3 RUNNER 4D" (67,000 yen) uses this technology to feature a high-performance midsole made using light and oxygen. Drawing on years of running data, the iconic shoe's lattice structure and single-component design have been precisely tuned to deliver controlled energy return, stability, and long-lasting cushioning. A unique open construction also helps keep feet cooler.

The shoe features a pure black and white Primeknit upper, durable eyestays, and "three stripes" coding for enhanced support.
The campaign, photographed by London-based duo Sofie&Maarten, uses inverted colorways to build curiosity and suspense around the product's launch. The shoes will be available at the Y-3 Omotesando Hills store and online shop (www.y-3.com), with a limited run of 200 pairs worldwide. At the Y-3 Omotesando Hills store, a lottery will be held from 9am on February 23rd, with sales to begin at 6pm. For details on sales methods, please contact the Y-3 Omotesando Hills store or check the official Omotesando Hills website.
