Acne Studios opened a new store at the Isetan Shinjuku store on February 21st. This shop-in-shop, the brand's first in Japan, expresses the brand's unique global store concept. It carries women's ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, and small leather goods.

Acne Studios is a Stockholm-based fashion house with a diverse approach. Founder and creative director Jonny Johansson has a strong interest in photography, architecture, and contemporary culture, and has grown into a recognized presence that transcends the realm of fashion, expanding into magazines, furniture, books, and exhibitions.
The collection fuses elements of ready-to-wear and tailoring with contemporary art and culture, continuing to challenge fashion uniquely through the brand's unique juxtaposition (a world where diverse cultures, values, languages, and people coexist) and attention to detail. The collection's innovative combinations of various materials and in-house developed fabrics add a modern approach to design.

The brand's debut Spring/Summer 2018 collection is themed around the "outsider" that lies at the heart of the brand. The collection features a relaxed mint-colored suit jacket, long, high-waisted trousers, an oversized satin shirt with a pointed collar, and Cuban-heeled mules with leather cowboy patchwork. All items are influenced by and express the style of ``outsider'' style icons.
