To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Blue Note, a "general election" was held. Vote for your favorite album on the special website.

To celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2014, the long-established jazz label Blue Note launched the "Blue Note General Election," an online popularity poll. The first phase, the "Album Edition," is currently running until July 15th.

In this project, participants are asked to vote for three albums based on the "Blue Note 1500s" and "Blue Note 4000s" lists of albums released since the 1950s, published on the "Blue Note 75th Anniversary Special Website." As long as a Blue Note release is not on the list, participants can also vote. Anyone can participate in the vote, and a special T-shirt will be entered into a drawing to win. The results will be reflected in the composition of a CD series scheduled for release in October. The second phase of the "Blue Note General Election" is scheduled to begin in August.

Blue Note is a label specializing in jazz. Founded in New York in 1939 by blues lover Alfred Lion, it has produced many jazz musicians who would go on to become key figures in the jazz scene.
