Japan's first 3D manufacturing marketplace "Rinkaku" opens pre-registration for closed beta version. Supporting makers

Jun 21, 2013

Kabuku Inc. (headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) opened pre-registration for the closed beta version of "rinkak," Japan's first 3D manufacturing marketplace, on the 19th. The open beta service is scheduled to be released soon.

Rinkak supports the creation and sale of products using digital manufacturing technologies such as 3D printers, targeting companies, general users, product designers, programmers, and others. Unlike traditional e-commerce sites, products are manufactured and sold based on customer orders. Using 3D data uploaded to Rinkak, products can be manufactured using a variety of materials, including plastic, ceramic, metal, and rubber. Even if you don't own digital manufacturing equipment such as a 3D printer, you can become a manufacturer and sell products by creating 3D data.

Established in January of this year, Kabuku is a company that provides internet-related services, community management, product design and development, and researches cutting-edge technology.

Desktop manufacturing using 3D printers has also attracted attention in the fashion industry, with shoes and dresses frequently announced and creating buzz online.
