The "teamLab and Kagawa Summer Digital Art Festival" will be held at three venues in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, featuring a teamLab-directed show and digital art works.
The "Kagawa Waterfront Festival," a festival of water, light, and music, will be held near Sunport Takamatsu and Seto Sea Palette from July 19th to August 8th. The event will feature projection mapping on the Seto Inland Sea. Holographic images will be projected onto a giant water screen created by spraying seawater, creating dynamic artworks such as historical tales. There will also be a participatory fishing game tournament using smartphones, which can be enjoyed in conjunction with the holographic images.
The "Takamatsu Media Art Festival Pre-Event" will be held at the Takamatsu City Museum of Art from July 23rd to August 10th. An artwork titled "The World is So Gentle and Beautiful" will be exhibited. The Information and Communications Communication Center e-topia Kagawa will be hosting the "See, Touch, Experience Digital Art" event from August 1st to 13th. The installation will feature the theme "The world continues to change while becoming homogenized."
