Gucci has launched a collection of special items to celebrate the Year of the Dog.

The dog motif featured in the collection was inspired by a cushion that Helen Downey, known as "The Unskilled Worker," gave to Gucci's creative director, Alessandro Michele. The cushion featured Alessandro's two Boston terriers, Bosco and Orso.

Unskilled Worker's illustrations of Alessandro's beloved dogs appear across a wide range of men's and women's ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, luggage, small leather goods and accessories.

The dog motif also features prominently on women's vibrant knitwear, men's hoodies and bomber jackets, GG Supreme canvas backpacks and tote bags, and colorful leather clutches and wallets. Bosco and Orso also adorn scarves, sneakers and jewelry, while the two dogs' faces appear on watch faces. The collection will be available for purchase from January 23rd at the official Gucci online store and Gucci stores worldwide, along with special packaging.
