LOUIS VUITTON will be launching its new 2018 Spring/Summer Men's Collection in Japan first at its Roppongi Hills store from January 10th.
The destination of the collection's journey is luxurious island hopping. The main source of inspiration was the countless chains of Hawaiian islands known as "Archipelago" (an archipelago of many islands).
The exotic leaf and branch prints inspired by the aloha shirt, a symbol of Hawaiian fashion, the fantastical patterns seen on intarsia knitwear, and new Hawaiian patterns are all exclusive designs by Louis Vuitton.
The silhouettes and innovative graphic logos are heavily influenced by extreme sports that can be enjoyed in the natural environment of the Hawaiian Islands, such as windsurfing, climbing, trekking, and hiking, and the name "Louis Vuitton" is printed in large transfer print on sweaters, T-shirts, and scuba zips as a sports team slogan.
Japan-exclusive "Messenger PM" (¥235,000)
The Roppongi Hills store will be offering the Japan-exclusive "Messenger PM" (¥235,000) first, as well as exclusive products and new leather goods available in Japan first, including the store-exclusive "Woodcut Line Derby" (¥178,000) and the "Tote Bag" (¥264,000), available exclusively at the store and the Hankyu Men's store. The lineup features bold colors, Hawaiian motifs, and outdoor details that invite you on a journey to enchanting islands.
A reception was held at the store on the evening of the 10th, and many guests, including Sandaime J Soul Brothers' Takanori Iwata, actor Ryo Ryusei, models Norushika, Serina Motola, and Kurumi Nakata, attended and enjoyed the special atmosphere.
