Fujimaki Department Store, an e-commerce website produced by Fujimaki Kodai, a member of the House of Councilors of the People's Party, will celebrate its first anniversary with a sales event called "Love Nippon 2013" on the 29th and 30th. The event will feature over 150 items selected by Fujimaki. Visitors will be able to touch, try on, and taste products that are normally only available online. Born in Tokyo in 1960, Fujimaki joined Isetan and worked as a buyer for Barneys Japan before establishing Kaihoku, Re-Style, and BPQC, among other brands, and became known as a charismatic buyer. Between regular TV appearances, writing, and speaking engagements, he travels the country tirelessly, focusing on Japan. Fujimaki Department Store, operated by Zappallas, launched on May 26th of last year as an e-commerce website where customers can "discover things beyond mere objects," emphasizing the stories behind each product and showcasing exceptional products that enrich people's lives.
