CHANEL's Spring/Summer 2018 makeup collection, themed "Naples: New City," draws inspiration from the history, landscape, metaphors, and significance of Naples, Italy. Based on a striking color palette of green, yellow, gold, red, and black, the collection evokes the long history of Naples while proposing a completely new type of makeup. The centerpiece of the collection is the Les Neufs Ombres Edition No. 1 - Afresco eyeshadow palette (¥10,500), which includes a key color set. Enjoy textures and colors with a variety of finishes, from bright tones to muted tones, including matte, satin, and metallic finishes. The eyeshadow lineup is centered around green. The cream eyeshadow "Ombre Premiere Crème" (3,900 yen) now includes "#824 Verde Lame," a smoky gray-green with a subtle metallic sheen. The mascara "Dimensions de Chanel" (4,200 yen) comes in a beautiful architecturally inspired blue-green called "#50 Nero Metallo," while the eyeliner pencil "Stylo Yeux Waterproof" (3,000 yen) comes in a deep green-blue called "#993 Nero Vulcano" that is reminiscent of the black volcanic ash of Vulcano Island, and the bright jade-colored "#938 Marechiaro."
The special limited edition lip color "Poudre à Lay Lèvres" (4,400 yen) is an item with excellent color payoff inspired by the colors of the frescoes of Pompeii and the sampera technique.
It comes in three colors: the bright orange-red "#410 Rosso Pompeiano," the passionate red "#415 Rosso Partenope," and the soft pink "#418 Rosa Tempera."
