G.V.G.V. and Opening Ceremony have partnered once again to present the highly anticipated "Men's 3rd Holiday Collection."
In conjunction with this, a pop-up will be held at the Opening Ceremony Omotesando store from December 23rd to January 8th, 2018.
The theme of the collection is "DREAM." Inspired by black-and-white photographs of Patti Smith taken by Robert Mapplethorpe, the collection focuses on her preferred styling.
This transgender lineup, featuring men's clothing worn by women and men wearing women's clothing, expresses the androgynous side of fashion.
"LONG JACKET" (¥54,000)
A long jacket with a glen check accented with deep blue and pink that isn't too conventional, a denim jacket with beautiful colors, a voluminous shirt with delicate colored lace for a genderless feel, and bell-shaped jeans with a worn-in look, just like Patty's.
"T-SHIRT" (9,900 yen)
A total of eight styles will be available, including a pale gradient tie-dye T-shirt that expresses "DREAM," a punkish distressed knit with holes all over, and T-shirts and hoodies embroidered with the "DREAM" motif.
Available at the Opening Ceremony Omotesando store and the Opening Ceremony online shop (https://www.openingceremonyjapan.com/). The online shop will begin selling the items at 12:00 PM on December 23rd.
