Christmas markets are a traditional festival that has continued since the Middle Ages in Germany and other parts of Europe. In every city's central square, distinctive Christmas decorations and illuminations, as well as stalls selling traditional sweets, mulled wine, and general merchandise, make this an essential part of the Christmas season. The event will offer mulled wine served in original mugs, a Christmas market essential that warms the body and soul, as well as 24 types of soups and stews perfect for the cold winter. It will also feature a variety of European sweets, including the classic German Christmas treat, stollen, and the Hungarian and Czech Republic's local kurtosh. More than 3,500 items, from miscellaneous goods to Christmas ornaments and wooden crafts from Seiffen, a village in Germany's Erzgebirge region famous for its wooden toy making, will be sold at prices lower than anywhere else in Japan.


In addition to food and miscellaneous goods, the event will also feature the annually popular candle and snow globe making workshops, readings from picture books from around the world, and a live performance by a German band visiting Japan.

The venue also features the world's largest wooden craft, the "Christmas Pyramid," a 14-meter-tall pyramid imported from Germany, as well as Instagram-worthy photo decks and paths lined with Christmas wreaths. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of a Christmas market in a romantic setting.
