M, the brand created by MUVEIL designer Michiko Nakayama, will hold its special exhibition Vol. 003, "digestif," on December 16th and 17th at M in the grounds of Kanda Myojin Shrine.

This is a new project to create "new Tokyo souvenirs embodying Japanese sensibilities" to be sold within the grounds of Kanda Myojin Shrine. The third exhibition has invited various artists from different fields throughout the year to showcase the invisible, sensory aspects hidden within M's clothing. This latest event is a collaboration between WINE & SWEETS tsumons, a bar in Takasago, Fukuoka, that proposes pairings with sweets, and ATLAS ANTIQUES, a store that handles antiques and secondhand goods from around the world, primarily from Europe, from the 18th to 20th centuries.


The coffret created by Tsumon's owner, Kazuki Yuki, for the special exhibition is a combination of spices for mulled wine and sweets. The "coffret rouge" (3,500 yen) is a coffret set to be enjoyed with red wine, containing spices for mulled wine, jam made with yuzu and kumquat, and baked demi-sec sweets with a digestif scent. The "coffret blanc" (3,500 yen) is a coffret set to be enjoyed with white wine, containing spices for mulled wine, jam made with the scent of domestic lemons, and baked sweets made with sec sweets to enjoy the texture. Only 30 of each will be sold.


Atlas's Genta Iimura purchased high-quality glass pieces in Paris for this event, including "Crystal Bacarrat" from the 1850s, which displays the craftsmanship that is the true essence of Old Baccarat, as well as beautifully shaped cosmetic glass. Expectations are high for these beautiful vintage luxury items that evoke a feminine touch.

In addition, M, located within Kanda Myojin Shrine, will be open on January 1st and 2nd, holding a New Year's event called "Okaizome." They will be selling M's "Leather Pouch" (19,000 yen), which is designed to complement the sophisticated woman's light, smart, and elegant outing style.
