
Laforet Harajuku will be hosting the second installment of its new market project, "Laforet Market vol.2 “Christmas”," on December 16th and 17th, where creators can meet.
This time, the theme is "Christmas," and there will be 40 booths across a wide range of genres, including fashion, art, crafts, lifestyle, and food. They will offer products and services that are perfect as gifts to add color to your Christmas.

From fashion to playful ideas, humour and surprises, CAPH troupe will be appearing, hand-weaving them together to propose humorous accessories and clothing. KIAN_Jewelry, a gallery in Jiyugaoka that handles works by young artists from Japan and abroad from the perspective of design and craft, will be exhibiting works by three brands making their first appearance in Japan: Studio Emma Odenkirchen (Netherlands), Foureyes ceramics (USA), and mumpish (France), as well as the Japanese brand Iria Ashimine, which is attracting attention both at home and abroad. Other exhibitors include Alfredo Gonzales, drama H.P.FRANCE, MARTE/madder madder, on the sunny side of the street, OTOE, Six COUP DE FOUDRE, spoken words project, and TYPE.

From lifestyle items to GOOD DAY, which handles accessories and miscellaneous goods selected with an emphasis on Japanese creations, LTshop, a Lithuanian craft and design specialty store in Gaienmae, ‘ala Lehua, Archèoiogie, CIRCLE&LINE, G.BOAT, It's so easy, SLOW HOUSE, and WANOWA.

From the food and drink section, exhibitors will include Lanterne, a friendly red lantern izakaya run by a French chef, TAYORI, which proposes new communication based on the concept of a food post office, panya ashiya tokyo, a specialty store selling only two types of bread, amefri chai & craft, CASICA, COFEE SUPREME, Départ, omusubinatsuki, and TEA TIME TAILOR. Also exhibiting will be BOOK AND SONS, a bookstore that handles graphic design books with a focus on typography, and irotoiro, which handles colorful flowers, greenery, dried flowers, and more, and delivers flowers that make the most of each individual's individuality.

The event will also feature a variety of workshops and performances by participating shops and artists. From 2pm to 6pm on December 16th, a workshop will be held in collaboration with Yamamoto Mana, owner of the flower brand Bross&Butter., where participants will create garlands that look like they've been gathered from plants in the forest. Yamamoto Mana's workshop will last approximately 30 minutes, and participation fees start from 3,000 yen (tax included).
Starting at 2pm on the 17th, the saxophone duo "YJSAXDUO," consisting of Yoshihiro Ushiroseki (ASA-CHANG& Junrei, WUJA BIN BIN, ex-Zainichi Funk) and Junichi Kamiunten (WUJA BIN BIN, Tokyo Chukei), will perform a live performance themed on Christmas around the world, and from 3pm, the two members of YJSAXDUO will improvise in front of you and hold a workshop where you can create your own one-of-a-kind original "Christmas cassette tape." The workshop by YJSAXDUO is limited to the first 10 people to arrive, lasts approximately 5-10 minutes, and costs 2,000 yen including tax.
