JIL SANDER presented its Spring/Summer 2014 men's collection at Milan Fashion Week. The venue was the brand's headquarters. Designer Jil Sander's key themes were "accidental traveler" and "balanced, relaxed atmosphere." Tailoring included square-cut, single-breasted jackets with low pockets. Cropped bottoms featured wide, double-breasted hems, and pleated shorts with a wide silhouette. Outerwear included light coats, windbreakers, and shirt-like blousons with contrasting pockets and sleeves. Materials included silky, lustrous jacquard, washed linen cotton, and glossy tropical mohair, as well as sporty techno fabrics. Neon pinks and reds, floral jacquards, and graffiti-style floral prints added a feminine touch. Shoes included hand-painted derby shoes and rubber-soled oxfords. Patent leather and nappa leather satchels were carried like clutches.
