In addition to works by leading Japanese figure artists, Aichi Institute of Technology will exhibit three works, including a dancing Snoopy robot, "Snoopy Dancing Robot," and a Snoopy robot that evolves from four legs to walking on two legs. The exhibition will also be decorated with artworks that took approximately three years to prepare, including a 4D mosaic art piece made from approximately 5,000 four-panel "Peanuts" comic strips. Furthermore, an object created for the "Snoopy Town" project in Osaka, which led the exhibition's general producer Yoshiteru Otani to meet original author Charles M. Schulz and later donated to the United States, will return to Japan for the first time in nearly a quarter of a century. In addition, the merchandise corner will feature over 100 original merchandise items. The first exhibition will be held at Matsuya Ginza from March 1 to 19, 2018. It will then tour the country, including JR Nagoya Takashimaya, Hankyu Umeda Main Store, and Hiroshima Mitsukoshi. Further venues will be announced in due course. Advance tickets will be on sale at ticket agencies until February 28. Enjoy the new world of Snoopy unfolding through science art.
