"Finnish Breakfast" (¥1,500)

WORLD BREAKFAST ALLDAY, a cafe restaurant in Gaienmae, Tokyo, with the concept of "Learn about the world through breakfast," will be serving "Finnish Breakfast" (¥1,500) from December 5th to February 4th, 2018.

WORLD BREAKFAST ALLDAY's "Finnish Breakfast" will be available in time for the Christmas season. Because Finland's cold weather makes it difficult for wheat to grow, the cold-hardy rye is cultivated, and several types of rye bread are eaten for breakfast. One of the most popular dishes is "Karjalan Piilakka," a Finnish national dish. It is a rye pastry filled with milk porridge and topped with munavoi, a dish made with eggs and butter. This time, we have prepared a one-plate dish featuring "rossolli," a beet and root vegetable salad often eaten during the Christmas season, paired with salted salmon and cheese.

During the event, Finnish national drinks and desserts such as "gloggi," a hot drink made with cranberry juice and spices, will also be available. Finland-related events will also be held at World Breakfast All Day.
