The sixth TOKYO CRAFT MARKET, which explores traditional Japanese arts and craftsmanship from around the world and discovers art in everyday life, will be held over two days, November 25th and 26th, at the United Nations University Courtyard Plaza in Aoyama, Tokyo. 

The sixth edition will be themed around "yokan." Participants include Echigoyuki Honpo Yamatoya Co., Ltd., Suzukake Co., Ltd., Tokiwagi Yokanten Co., Ltd., Toraya Co., Ltd., Yoneya Co., Ltd., Asahi Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Kubota), and GIO Co., Ltd. (MaxJuice). Visitors will be able to experience the charms of a wide variety of yokan and Japanese sweets, as well as enjoy pairings with sake, tea, juice, and more. Special yokan and drink sets will also be available exclusively at the event.
In addition, there will be a "YOKAN Special Talk & café" event to offer new yokan experiences, including a talk on the history of yokan by Toraya, a pairing of yokan and sake by Yamatoya x Kubota, and new proposals for yokan by bar 36 by Suzukake. This event will be held at the same venue from 1pm to 3:30pm each day, and tickets must be applied for in advance (2,200 yen) or paid on the day (2,500 yen), with a capacity of up to 100 people.

In addition to yokan, craft shops such as Wakamatsu Farm, Kalonji, WERDEN WORKS, DRIBBLE, tamaki niime, Lille og Stor, AKIKO ESASHI, Raicho Glass Company, analogico, mujina Woodworking Studio, Ozaki Shotaro, Masuhisa Dyeing and Weaving Research Institute Nakameguro Branch, Parque, brick & braid, Machiya Art Goods Store, demode fukunaka, The Old House, and Modern Craft Council will also be exhibiting. Additionally, this year's event will feature "Yatai Deluxe," an architectural design by French designers Olivier VEDRINE and Olivier GUILLEMIN, featuring a futuristic pop-up structure inspired by traditional Japanese food stalls.
