New Jewelry 2017, an event bringing together a wide range of jewelry brands from popular contemporary brands to fresh new brands in the spotlight this year, will be held at Arts Chiyoda 3331 from December 1st to 3rd.


This year, a total of 100 brands will gather, and in addition to the regular booths, three new zones have been created. The particularly noteworthy "with BRIDAL" zone will feature jewelry to complement the bridal scene, from bridal rings and corsages to jewelry to match with dresses. Sixteen brands will be exhibiting, including AYUKO HISHIKAWA Paper Accessory, CAHiER, H JEWELRY., hinagiku, januka, KANOE, Marzo, MONAKA jewelry, nibi, NURISHI, palmette, SA:RA, Shelby, tnc, YOSHIKO CHONAN, and YUKA HOJO, some of which will allow customers to directly consult with the designers and enjoy semi-custom orders. Other new zones include "MARKET PLACE," which focuses on up-and-coming brands using different materials, and "THE GALLERY," which brings together Japanese jewelry artists active around the world.


In addition to jewelry, the venue will also offer limited quantities of colorful catered bento boxes and sweets from popular chefs and chefs. Another highlight will be a large balloon necklace connecting the venue, a collaboration between the internationally acclaimed architectural unit TORAFU ARCHITECTS, graphic design firm Takayama, and the globally active balloon unit DAISY BALLOON.

On the first day of the event, December 1st, a reception party will be held from 4:00 PM, open to the public. You can enjoy popular souvenirs (food and sweets) from all over Japan and specially prepared matcha tea by Ippodo Tea Shop, a Japanese tea specialty store with its main store in Kyoto.
