Marni has released a collaboration with Argentine artist Romina Quiros. Three of her illustrations are featured in the women's "Marni Winter Edition 2013 Denim" collection and the men's 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection.
The women's items include a PVC bag with leather handles (33,000 yen), a cotton jersey T-shirt (26,000 yen), and a cotton shirt (72,000 yen). Other items include an iPad case and a men's T-shirt. The collection is available at Marni boutiques and the official online store.
Quiros is an artist known for her abstract style. Her work is often monochrome, featuring motifs composed of soft curves and pink circles. Marni designer Consuelo Castiglioni decided to collaborate with Romina because he was attracted to her personality and work, which also includes a strong interest in environmental issues.
