Pomellato has unveiled the third installment of its high jewelry "La Gioia" collection, "A Walk in Nature, from sunrise to darkness."
This new collection depicts the fantastical landscapes evoked by nature, never static or decorative, skillfully depicting the light of sunset to the mystery of night in Pomellato's free-spirited style. The 33 pieces featured this time are divided into seven themes, expressed with the craftsmanship unique to Milanese jewelers, expressing light, mood and sensation.
A Different Perspective
Pomellato is always original, never following in the footsteps, but blazing a trail in its own unique way, intimately connected to nature. Since its founding in 1967, the Maison's pioneering designs have broken the rules of traditional jewelry, capturing the energy and passion of ready-to-wear fashion. "Our idea of fine jewelry is truly unique," said Pomellato CEO Sabina Belli. "The freedom of expression and boundless creativity that are characteristic of Pomellato are fully expressed in La Gioia, embodying our vision that jewelry should be easy and enjoyable to wear. For Italians, beauty is an everyday experience. Milan, in particular, is a city of culture and design, where the 1960s saw the birth of many of the 20th century's most defining artistic trends. Pomellato was born in this creative atmosphere."
Creative Inspiration
Creative Director Vincenzo Castaldo added: "The La Gioia collection is a reflection of the Italian people's everyday experience. The 1960s saw the birth of many of the 20th century's most iconic artistic trends. "The Pomellato collection is a reflection of the Italian people's everyday experience. The 1960s saw the birth of many of the most iconic artistic trends of the 20th century. It was in this creative atmosphere that Pomellato was born." "I thought about the sensations and words I experience when walking in nature: the texture of flower petals, the colour of a stormy sky, the beauty of a fiery sunset. For La Gioia, I wanted to evoke the feeling of adorning yourself with stones, gold, colour and light, as the jewellery unfolds on your skin as you move. Nature captures its ever-changing expressions throughout the day, creating a dynamic dialogue that harmonises with our deeply rooted identity and the iconic Pomellato style."
Like all jewellery, the pieces are created at Casa Pomellato's headquarters in Milan, from the initial design stage to the final stone setting. Combining contemporary design with traditional goldsmithing techniques, the collection is entirely handmade.
1. Secrets of the Rising Sun
Introducing two spectacular rivière-style necklaces, whose baroque-shaped stones roll across the skin like sunlight shining on water. For the first time, Pomellato has used baroque-shaped stones with soft, edgy shapes. Five pale blue aquamarines weighing over 150 carats adorn the first necklace. Each aquamarine is loosely secured to the necklace by a diamond-set gold wire. The second necklace features a blue moonstone weighing over 100 carats, set with blue sapphires in pavé. In both necklaces, the central stone is suspended from an Iconica chain. A 107.8-carat aquamarine, radiating an ocean-blue hue that seems to emerge from the waves, is suspended on a diamond-set gold wire in a dramatic asymmetrical necklace. Irregular-sized rose and white gold links reflect the fluid harmony of this sea-inspired piece.

2. Summer Storm
Five jewelry pieces have been released, depicting the thundering of summer thunderstorms in endless shades of gray. The tones and sizes of white South Sea pearls and gray Tahitian pearls echo the sparkle of bluish gray spinels, sapphires, and white diamonds, set on either side of the links in this delicate and sophisticated piece. The necklace features two large links and a chain at the back, allowing for versatile wearing.
The earrings feature 24 44.5-carat cushion-cut gray spinels, gradating from dark purple to deep blue-black, cascading beautifully from the earlobe. The hidden titanium frame and diamonds that sparkle like raindrops add a vibrant touch to the palette.
The other pair of earrings evokes the mystical beauty of raindrops. Starting with two circles set with slate-gray spinels and sapphires, they are followed by a row of delicate rose-cut diamonds backed by blue-gray spinels, and finished with a teardrop-shaped Tahitian pearl. The rose gold ring, encrusted with blue-gray spinels, sapphires, and white diamonds, perfectly captures the shape of a powerful raincloud. This ring is an evolution of the Maison's renowned Gourmet Link.

3. Shades of the Rainbow
A rainbow sparkles in the sky after a storm has passed. Pomellato celebrates nature's gifts with a bracelet featuring more than 2,500 colored gemstones. This dazzling creation features domed rose gold links displaying 24 different colored stones. Pomellato's passion for color is evident in this piece, featuring radiant stones handpicked from around the world. In this masterpiece, Pomellato once again plays with original designs and color gradations. The striking green of emeralds is matched with the minty tones of tsavorite. In a blue palette, the ocean colors of sapphires transform into purple and turquoise hues in tanzanite, aquamarine, and Paraiba tourmaline. Rubies, spinels, and pink sapphires reveal vibrant red tones.

4. Midday Gold
This ultra-contemporary princess-style necklace captures the power of midday light through three of the Maison's signature designs. The geometric shape of the oval gold links is combined with the suppleness of the white gold gourmet links paved with white diamonds, creating a striking contrast between the materials, further enhanced by the luminous center stone.
A diamond-set curb chain connected to rose gold cable links suspends the spectacular stones. Each stone is intricately faceted and voluminous, surrounded by white diamonds for a powerful effect. The first necklace features a rare lagoon-green 17.9-carat Paraiba tourmaline, the second an 18.55-carat soft pink morganite reminiscent of peony petals, and the third a 15.65-carat sea-blue aquamarine. The necklaces are complemented by seven unique stone rings. Each chain-link ring features an oversized rose gold bezel highlighting each stone. More than 300 to 400 diamonds sparkle, with center stones weighing approximately 25 carats each. A rose gold double-chain bracelet with a dazzling diamond-set round clasp completes the collection.

5. Into the Sunset
Pomellato evokes the glow of the setting sun in two necklaces. One features two strands of reddish-brown amber beads from Santo Domingo and extremely rare melo pearls weighing approximately 63 carats. The melo pearls, highly sought after for their fiery orange color and porcelain-like shine, are set at the center of a rose gold medallion featuring an openwork leaf motif inspired by Japan. Mandarin sapphires and brown diamonds complement the polished bronze hue.
Amber, with its pleasant texture and warmth, is also used in the necklace, which features irregular-shaped, wine-red amber beads from Mexico. A Y-chain necklace features four rose gold medallions adorned with an openwork bamboo leaf pattern set with brown and white diamonds. The bamboo leaf pattern is also featured in the matching earrings. The ring, featuring a 46.9-carat mandarin garnet cabochon and paved with brown diamonds and orange sapphires, resembles a blazing sunset that never sets.

6. Evening Shadows
Three outstanding sautoirs evoke the delicate shimmer of fading sunlight. Pomellato has embodied this brief moment of twilight using three different materials: rock crystal, gold chain, and pearls. This white gold long necklace is studded with the popular square-cut "Nudo" Clessidra rock crystal and features round links set with diamonds. Its monochrome hue evokes a misty landscape illuminated by the soft light of a rising moon. The clasp, which is an integral part of the design, allows it to be worn as a long necklace, choker, or bib necklace. The second necklace, with seven chains in rose, yellow, and white gold set with brown diamond pavé, radiates a sunset-like glow. The blooming gold wire flower, also set with brown diamond pavé, boasts 2,786 diamonds. Its form is an ideal interpretation of nature. The sautoir necklace, featuring a rose gold mesh ribbon and three rows of white Akoya pearls, eloquently evokes the transition from day to night. The warm color of gold transitions as easily from day to night with the soft glow of pearls. Four gold bars, two adorned with white diamonds and the others with brown diamonds, add a touch of elegance to this elegant piece. The bars form a clasp, allowing the necklace to be detached and worn in a variety of ways.
Completing the theme is the magnificent, imaginative Aquatic Flower Ring. Its swaying petals feature blue-gray spinels, sapphires, and diamonds, creating a gradation of the delicate shades that emerge at the end of the day.

7. Discoveries in the Darkness
The contrast between light and dark is explored in a choker and long chain earrings. The renowned Gourmet chain is reimagined, featuring more than 1,400 white and black diamonds pavéd throughout its asymmetrically arranged links. The matching earrings also feature 960 sparkling diamonds. The contrasting black and white bracelet is equally striking. The dome structure, like the rainbow-set bracelet, is sensually rounded.
Jet, a mineral derived from ancient tree fossils, has long been a favorite at Casa Pomellato for its comfort and mystical qualities. The oriental-inspired Y-chain necklace features openwork jet medallions, faceted jet beads, and black diamonds. The necklace culminates in a gold teardrop-shaped design featuring the same pattern as the jet medallions.
Pomellato explores the versatility of mesh chains, creating a gold cord and jet necklace with exquisite craftsmanship. The double cord flexibly fits around the neck, making this a masterpiece that embodies the Maison's chain-making know-how. Two jet pendants, adorned with diamond-set white gold and garnet cabochons, hang from a striking cord. A contemporary interpretation of 1940s jewelry, this piece features a feminine and bold combination of materials.

"La Gioia: A Walk in Nature, from sunrise to darkness" offers Pomellato's unique interpretation of nature, from sunrise to darkness. A collection that makes the impossible possible: fleeting moments, a captivating play of light, intriguing shadows, and bursts of vibrant color.
