On July 8, 2025, during the Paris Haute Couture Collection, MIKIMOTO unveiled its new high jewelry collection, "Les Pétales," at Hôtel d’Évreux on Place Vendôme in Paris.
"Les Pétales" expresses the fleeting beauty of rose petals dancing in the wind. The delicate curves of pink gold petals are skillfully combined with Akoya pearls and diamonds, evoking MIKIMOTO's signature light and poetic worldview. The jewelry, which almost evokes the movement of the air, resonates with the wearer's movements and exudes a unique presence.

Mikimoto's dream of "adorning women all over the world with pearls"
In 1893, founder Kokichi Mikimoto became the first company in the world to successfully cultivate cultured pearls. For the 130 years since, driven by his desire to "adorn women all over the world with pearls," MIKIMOTO has continued on his path as a world-renowned high jeweler that Japan is proud of. Today, his aesthetic sensibilities are shared around the world, from his flagship store in Ginza, Tokyo, to Paris's Place Vendôme, New York's Fifth Avenue, and London's New Bond Street.

The MIKIMOTO jewelry, reflected alongside Kitagawa Keiko's presence, goes beyond mere ornamentation and weaves "another story" that accompanies the wearer's life. "Les Pétales" speaks of ephemeral yet eternal beauty. Its lingering echoes will continue to bloom in people's hearts, transcending time.
