To celebrate its 125th anniversary, Globe-Trotter will launch a new collection on July 11th featuring four wheels, based on the original model that was the first to reach the Antarctic and the summit of Mount Everest. Crafted from strong yet lightweight Vulcan fiber, the Original Series suitcases will be the lightest Globe-Trotter offers, making modern travel more comfortable from 2022 onwards. The collection will be available at all Globe-Trotter stores from July 11th.

The design has remained unchanged since 1897, when the brand created its first case using the revolutionary material Vulcan Fibre. Strong yet lightweight, Vulcan Fibre is ideal for luggage and has always been at the heart of Globe-Trotter's handmade travel bags.
A special process bonds 14 layers of paper, cotton, and wood pulp to form a single, strong sheet of Vulcan Fibre. Skilled artisans heat, bend, and shape this sheet to create luggage and bags ready for any occasion. The Original Series suitcases are Globe-Trotter's lightest range, designed to make modern travel comfortable from 2022 onwards.
