"Happiness Hong Kong" 2nd edition held at Isetan Shinjuku! Connecting Japan and Hong Kong through music, illustrations, and fashion

Event Date:2017.11.08-11.14
Nov 6, 2017
The second installment of the "Happiness Hong Kong @ Isetan Shinjuku" pop-up shop, which garnered attention last year for its vibrant Hong Kong-inspired interior and cute yet powerful fashion items, will be held at the Isetan Shinjuku store from November 8th to 14th.

This year's theme is "Happiness Hong Kong Vol. 2 ~Filled with Fantasies Across the Sea~." It features a collaboration between three trending Hong Kong and Japanese artists, connecting the creative scenes of Hong Kong and Japan.

Participating creators include top Hong Kong artist Little Thunder, Japanese illustrator Misaki Tanaka, and Japanese musician CHAI. Little Thunder and Misaki Tanaka collaborated on a wall art piece at PMQ, a historic building and Hong Kong's creative hub. Chai's collaboration with Little Thunder featured Chai's music video, shot in Hong Kong, and original illustrations by Little Thunder. Starting November 8th, the venue will also feature a limited-time Tanaka Misaki x Little Thunder wall art for one week. Items from Hong Kong's leading fashion brands, including Stars & Tart, microwave, and Homanz, making their Japan debut, as well as giant mugs (950 yen each) by the three participating artists, and other Happiness Hong Kong-exclusive merchandise will also be available for purchase. This space will allow visitors to fully enjoy each artist's artwork and unique perspective.
