FENDI's Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection introduces new "ROCKOKO" boots. Since its debut in the Spring/Summer 2017 collection, ROCKOKO has garnered attention as the "it" shoe. This sporty shoe collection combines the stretchy fabric of knitwear for a sock-like look and exceptional comfort. The fusion of seemingly opposing elements—shoes and knitwear—embodies the dualism that is part of the Maison's DNA, striking a perfect balance between modern sensibility and couture. The new lineup features a wide variety of styles, from thigh-high boots to short boots. Crafted from a variety of materials, including simple calf leather, lustrous velvet, and precious exotic leathers, these boots add a sensual allure to your feet. The thigh-high boots (167,000 yen) and short boots (119,000 yen) feature high-stretch fabric on the back line and are made of glossy, passionate red leather. The sandal-shaped short boots (126,000 yen) feature a velvet cross strap design combined with a stretchy mohair-blend fabric. All boots have a long, slim silhouette, pointed toe, and delicate 10.5cm heel, giving them a bold and elegant presence. The two lines on the socks, called "double stripes," are a distinctive "Rococo" touch.
